The ginkgo leaf contains unique compounds which may prove useful for blood flow to the brain, hands and feet thus helping to maintain a healthy circulation which is of particular importance in old age. The leaf has a long history of medical use and has been used in traditional chinese medicine for hundreds of years. Hellenia's extract contains 24% ginkgo flavonglycosides. Each capsule contains 120mg of concentrated extract and is the equivalent of taking 6000mg of the fresh herb.
