Healthy Eating Week

The British Nutrition Foundation’s 10th Annual Healthy Eating Week, is running from 13th – 17th June. The message for the 2022 event is ‘Eat well for you and the planet’. It is aimed at working towards helping people achieve a healthier and more sustainable diet.

Hellenia was born out of a passion for natural health. We’ve said it before ‘Health is Wealth’ and a big part of that starts with what we choose to nourish our body’s with. The connection between food and eating habits and the health of the planet is a significant one, and Healthy Eating Week is the ideal opportunity for us all to focus on developing a healthier and more sustainable diet – for ourselves and the planet.

With recent media coverage concerning rising obesity levels we need to raise awareness and make an effort in particular to engage children and young people in healthy lifestyles. That way we can build a healthier generation for the future, whilst learning how to protect the environment at the same time.

The week is a chance for everyone to get involved, sharing their tips and adopting healthier habits. A different theme is set to be relayed across all 5 days:

Focus on fibre

Healthy eating

Get at least five a day

Vary your protein

Stay hydrated

Reduce food waste

With achieving your 5 a day in mind and being the focus of one theme, our Polyphenol 5 capsules could be a welcome addition to any adult's diet.
